On October 6, 2022, after more than a two-year implementation timeline for the information blocking rule, all portions of the initial implementation have concluded.   The two-year timeline provided a glide path for organizations regarding the information blocking regulations in order to reduce the burden of implementation.

Moving forward, we expect to see periodic, experience-driven regulatory updates as well as continued work on education, outreach, and oversight, including the establishment of disincentives for health care providers.  During this webinar we will review what has been accomplished and it’s impact on healthcare providers and what is likely to drive future changes for disincentives.
